Great News, both groomers will be out tonight doing the whole upper trail system including 19, 22 and 301. Tomorrow morning the groomer will make it down to the Atlantic Host from the Chaleur Club. Great Spring Sledding in store this week.

After receiving 20cm last night and much more to come, Good Friday on the trails is looking great enjoy the long weekend happy Easter. Both groomers are out on the trails tonight. Should be great Sledding.

Looking for a beautiful drive this weekend after getting 4" of fresh snow last night. Leave from the Chaleur Club on Trail 19 then hit the 301 to Sugar Shack for Breakfast then move on to the 22 then the 507 and hit the 23 to Rogers Lake for Lunch. Fresh groomed trails as of today.

The trails from the Club Chaleur Lodge going west on trail 19 and 301 are very reasonable for spring sledding. Trail 19 going to the Atlantic Host is not recommended. The other groomer has gone up to Simpsons Field / Island Lake this afternoon. From ARLEAU Brook Shelter towards Island Lake snow conditions deteriorated with many bare spots on the trail. Best to head towards Sugar Shack Auberge Ressources Inn on the 301.

New notice that starting Monday March 15th til end of season wood operations will continue on the Caribou mines side of trail 301 across for the Auberge Ressources Inn aka the Sugar Shack. The trail will be reduced to one lane for both directions so please reduce speed and be cautious in this area. Trails are A1 with a nice snowfall today but unfortunately Rain Monday and Tuesday with 16 degrees temperatures... The Club House will be closing tomorrow for the season with music this afternoon.

We received over 25 cm of snow overnight, so the trails will be groomed starting Thursday. The snowmobile season will be extended a little, thanks to Mother Nature for helping us. The club house will be closed starting this Sunday evening, but we will continue grooming as long as the trails will allow us to do it safely.3 March, 2026 at 7:00 PM
Both groomers are out tonight trail 19 above the Chaleur lodge and 19 below the lodge to the Atlantic Host will be groomed tonight. Also trail 301 leading to the Auberge Ressources Inn aka Sugar Shack will be completed.
Please be careful as moose have been spotted on trails during the evening.

After speaking to sledders today trails where 9.5 out of 10. Let's hope the weather stays in our favor as next weekend they are announcing +6 temperatures... Drive safe and enjoy our spring sledding. Trails 301 is still a hidden Gem as we met sledders that had never been to the Sugar Shack. They were pleasantly surprised with the Trail and quality of Food! Make this a destination!

Groomers are still out tonight finishing up the trail system. Surprised by the amount of snow that has fallen on our trails. Don't forget Wing Night Wednesday, Friday Night Burger Platter raising money for Acadie Chaleur Ground Search and Rescue and Band Imitation this Saturday starting @ 3:00pm.

Notice that starting tomorrow Feb 16th for the next two weeks wood operations will start on the Caribou mines side of trail 301 across for the Auberge Ressources Inn aka the Sugar Shack. There will be wood cutting next to the trail, so the actual trail should not be impacted. Please proceed with caution in this area.
